Our Story

Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods was founded in 2010 by Gregg Goldenberg, Jon Roby and Thomas Olson, real estate/building veterans with more than 50 years of combined experience. We bring the know-how, the vision and the financial backing to develop a new approach to home building in recognition of current market conditions.

  • 19 years of residential homebuilding experience.
  • 10 years at Morrison Homes (now Taylor Morrison). Roles included Atlanta Division President and Senior Vice President of the Southeast Region. In 2004, Gregg oversaw land acquisition, homebuilding and mortgage finance operations in five major markets for Morrison, comprising more than 2,100 closings and $570 million in revenue.
  • MBA with concentration in Real Estate from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.


Jon Roby, Vice President of Construction

  • Vice President of Construction for national builder Pulte Homes, then General Manager of regional builder McCar Homes.
  • Founder of Whitehall Homes in 1997.
