What are the benefits of using your preferred lender?

Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods has chosen three preferred lenders who offer innovative financing programs, prompt communication, competitive rates and fees, and a money-back guarantee to ensure an on-time closing.

Can I make adjustments to the offered floor plans?

Based on decades of Atlanta-based experience, we have designed floor plans that are likely to meet the needs and desires of our homebuyers. Many of our plans offer flexible designs, so our buyers can choose an extra bedroom instead of a home office or an upstairs media room instead of a two-story living room. Between carefully designed plans and flexible options, most homebuyers are more than happy with our floor plan options.

If you have an idea for making one of our floor plans even better, please talk with your on-site sales agent about making a custom option request.

How long does it generally take from contract signing to closing?

Each community has different build times based on the size and complexity of the homes there. Please talk with your on-site sales agent, who is very knowledgeable about construction schedules in your community.

Why would you start a home building company in this economy?

The same market forces that make now a good time to buy a home make now a good time to start a home building company. We are a group of experienced builders who have the financial backing and the opportunity to acquire neighborhoods and home sites at new market prices. We know how to construct quality homes that meet the needs and desires of current Atlanta homebuyers. We are glad to seize on the opportunities in the current market, purchase neighborhoods and home sites that struggling builders were forced to abandon, and restore them by building homes at a value today’s homebuyers appreciate.

How do I know you’re not going to leave the neighborhood unfinished?

Our company's strategy is to be the home builder that comes in to finish what was left undone by others during the last few difficult years. At the appropriate time, we’ll start new neighborhoods of our own. But right now, we’re the finishers who are restoring the dreams of families in neighborhoods previously left incomplete.

What’s the advantage of choosing a locally headquartered builder?

Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods' leadership has more than 50 years of experience in the Atlanta market. We have local knowledge that helps us choose the best neighborhoods and gives us access to the highest quality materials and the most qualified trade partners. We know what’s happening in Atlanta’s building industry, and we can use that knowledge to create the best value for our customers.

Will Acadia be expanding into additional communities?

Absolutely! We are a new builder for a new time. We fully intend to take advantage of the rebound in Atlanta’s home market to restore new home communities, construct new communities in areas of market demand, offer homeowners outstanding quality at new market pricing, and emerge as a leader among Atlanta area home builders.

What type of warranty do you offer?

As a builder committed to delivering outstanding value with the utmost customer care, we stand behind the quality of our homes. We offer high quality materials and workmanship upfront to minimize problems down the road. Each home comes with a one-year builders warranty and a 2-10 home warranty. Insured through an outside third party, the 2-10 warranty backs systems for two years and the structure for 10 years.
