Located at 2595 Restoration Drive, the model home at Covenant Place in Powder Springs is now available for purchase. Listed at $374,900 (unfurnished), this bountiful beauty showcases Acadia’s traditional Providence floorplan.

At a sprawling 3200 square feet, the Providence really lives up to its name. The ideal home for growing families, the floorplan boasts three full bathrooms and five bedrooms – with the option for a sixth. One of the most stunning features of this home is the owner’s suite, which is accessed by elegant French doors, runs the length of the back of the home, and includes a separate sitting room, spa-influenced master bath and large walk-in closet. Three secondary bedrooms, laundry room and media room also comprise the upper level. Downstairs, the foyer is flanked on either side by formal living and dining rooms before leading into an airy and open area that features a kitchen with island, breakfast area and family room. Just off the kitchen, a flexible living space can serve as the ideal home office for a telecommuting family member or guestroom on main with full bath.

CovenantPlace-bedBest of all, the model home has been professionally and exquisitely merchandised by the talented Tracy Cook of Design Etc. Designed to express livable luxury – Tracy has infused a style and color palette to which most visiting homebuyers can relate, inspiring them to envision their family living comfortably and happily within the four walls of the home. Tracy also merchandised Acadia’s Liberty Crossing model home, which took home a Gold OBIE Award for Best Interior Merchandising in 2013. If a homebuyer is interested in buying the home fully furnished and merchandised – or wishes to keep only certain elements intact – Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods will be happy to work with you to negotiate those items into the final price of the home.

Press Release: Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods Now Building In Historic Roswell

Award-winning Atlanta Home Builder Announces That Construction is Underway at The Village on Pine

Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods Welcomes Roswell Home Buyers to The Village on PineAtlanta, June 18, 2015 – Before Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods had even broken ground on its first home in The Village on Pine, Neighborhood Sales Manager Virginia Klodt had already pre-sold 30% of the anticipated inventory. Boasting beautiful new floorplans and an incredible location in Historic Roswell within walking distance of shops and restaurants, it’s clear that homebuyers are hungry for a community like The Village on Pine.

“The Village on Pine marks one of five communities in which Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods is now building in North Fulton County,” explained Acadia’s VP of Sales & Marketing, Sam Bass. “We’re receiving similar levels of excitement to all of these properties – including Hawthorne Manor and Taylor Estates in Milton, Woodland Cove and Enclave at Wills Park in Alpharetta and now The Village on Pine in Roswell – regardless of price point. Homes in The Village on Pine start in the high $400’s, whereas homes in our two Milton communities are in the $600’s. North Fulton is an incredibly hot, rapidly growing area right now, and we’re happy to be here. Acadia Homes proves a great fit, not just for the area, but also for discerning homebuyers who can spot a quality product when they see one.”

Stroll the Brick Paved Sidewalks of Historic Roswell - The Village on Pine (sm)Nestled near the celebrated town square and surrounded by a vibrant art, antique, boutique and restaurant scene, The Village on Pine represents an intimate enclave of just 15 homes. Designed to celebrate the classic beauty and Southern charm that is synonymous with a town that played such a significant role in Georgia’s history, homes in The Village on Pine co-exist magnificently with the antebellum mansions and estates that are poised just around the corner, including the Archibald Smith Plantation, Bulloch Hall and Barrington Hall. While the historic integrity of the area is of utmost importance, some exciting changes are underway just around the corner from The Village on Pine. The Historic Gateway Master Plan for the City of Roswell will include the construction of two round-abouts near the community, as well as a new retail area on the east side of South Atlanta Street.

The City of Roswell Serves as a Celebration of Nature's Splendor - The Village on Pine (sm)In addition to regular excursions for shopping, dining and events, residents can enjoy other outdoor activities such as strolls along the scenic Vickery Creek Trail or kayaking and fishing on the Chattahoochee River. Proximity to the shops and restaurants in and around Perimeter Mall proves a major plus for shoppers with an eye for high fashion from retailers like Michael Kors, Boston Proper or Zara, and diners who prefer upscale nationally recognized eateries such as Flemings Steakhouse, The Capital Grille and Seasons 52.

“All three of our well-appointed new floorplans are exclusive to The Village on Pine,” said Neighborhood Sales Manager Virginia Klodt. “The Magnolia plan is designed to offer everything a homeowner needs for main level living. The Cypress, available as a basement or non-basement home, is family living at its very best.  The Auburn, a very stylish tri-level plan, is a great choice for spacious or multi-generational living.  The terrace level offers the possibility of an additional 1200 SF of separate living space, perfect for an adult child or in-law suite.  Another wonderful feature of our community is the inclusion of yard maintenance – ideal for the ‘lock and leave’ lifestyle.”

Press Release: Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods Honored with A+ Rating from Better Business Bureau

BBB-Accredited, Award-winning Atlanta Home Builder Receives Highest Rating from Nonprofit Organization Dedicated to ‘Fostering Honest and Responsive Relationships Between Businesses and Consumers’

Acadia Design Gallery-1Atlanta, May 21, 2015 – Having been ranked among BUILDER Magazine’s national list of “Next 100” builders earlier this month, as well as having made the top 10 on Atlanta Business Chronicle’s list of Top 20 Home Builders in Atlanta for the past two years, Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods is becoming increasingly well-known for its dedication to quality. However, quality is only part of the Atlanta-based builder’s mission to providing an unsurpassed home buying experience. In addition to delivering thoughtfully planned, exquisitely executed townhomes and single-family homes throughout Metro Atlanta, the Acadia Homes’ team is committed to delivering top-notch service to its homebuyers. With just five years on the Atlanta housing scene, the residential builder recently shed its groundbreaking tagline of “A New Builder For A New Time” for the more updated “All About You.” This new slogan serves as an all-encompassing statement that speaks to Acadia’s floorplan designs, home building experiences and customer service – each one geared specifically to the homebuyer. The recent honor of an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) indicates that Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods is right on track in its goal of providing a consumer-focused home buying experience.

The Acadia Homes Design Gallery Serves as a Major Enhancement of the Home Buying Experience“We credit a great deal of our success to one of marketing’s earliest incarnations – word-of-mouth,” explains Sam Bass, Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods VP of Sales & Marketing. “When a homebuyer is truly delighted with their new home and the journey that began the moment they set foot inside one of our communities and ended at the closing table, they are bound to tell everyone who will listen. That is particularly the case in this day and age of social media and heightened connectivity. The same holds true for a real estate professional who appreciates the way he or she was treated by the builder and on-site agent, and that – ultimately – their client had a positive experience. They will not only continue to bring clients to our homes, but will also tell others within the tight-knit Atlanta real estate community. It’s not enough to simply provide a beautiful house – everything about the experience has to be the best you have to offer. By hosting regular meetings with the members of our sales team and the recent introduction of an innovative and interactive concept in home design with the opening of Acadia’s Design Gallery, we are continually seeking ways to improve upon an already terrific home buying experience.”

An A+ from the Better Business Bureau is the organization’s highest rating it can bestow on a company. To determine ratings, BBB looks to several factors, including: complaint history, type of business, time in business, transparent business practices, ability to honor BBB commitments – such as answering and resolving complaints, licensing and government actions known to BBB and advertising issues known to BBB. Each factor is tied to a scoring system, and a company that achieves a score of 97 or higher is granted an A+. For more than 100 years, Better Business Bureau has been helping people find businesses, brands and charities they can trust. In 2014, people turned to BBB more than 165 million times for BBB Business Reviews on more than 5.4 million businesses and Charity Reports on 11,000 charities, all available for free at bbb.org.

Acadia Homes Now Building in Four of Atlanta’s “Best Suburbs”

CrowdCityHall - Dustin Grau PhotographyEarlier this month, online real estate brokerage – Movoto – assessed statistics of 56 suburbs throughout Atlanta to narrow it down to the Top 10. In keeping with our tagline “All About You,” award-winning Atlanta new home builder Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods takes special care in selecting the suburbs and in-town communities in which we base our neighborhoods. Based on the fact that we are currently building in FOUR of the suburbs that made the Top Ten – including two that landed the #1 and #2 slots – it would seem that we’re doing a pretty good job! Here is a breakdown of the suburbs listed in the Movoto list of “10 Best Atlanta Suburbs” in which Acadia is building, as well as our communities in each of them:

#1 Alpharetta – Touting key statistics that include a median household income of $79,385 and an unemployment rate of 6.2 percent, in addition to convenience to excellent schools, parks and walking trails, shopping, and dining, Alpharetta is not only a favorite among Movoto agents and bloggers – it’s a favorite among home buyers. Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods is proud to be building here in Woodland Cove and Enclave at Wills Park – both priced from the $500’s.

#2 Roswell – Thanks to high marks for more than 6,000 amenities and a median household income of $79,385, Roswell is a sure bet for the number 2 slot! Add a terrific historic downtown area, an incredible dining scene and access to great parks and the Chattahoochee River, and it’s no wonder why Acadia Homes chose to launch Village on Pine here with homes priced from the high $400’s.

#4 Decatur (tie) – The other two suburbs in the Top Ten where Acadia has a presence are duking it out for the #4 slot. Decatur gains the interest of Movoto, Acadia Homes AND new home buyers thanks to a high school graduation rate of 94% and an average commute time of just 24 minutes. An amazing town square that plays host to a treasure trove of unique boutiques, great restaurants and wonderful events is not to be overlooked.  Acadia is currently building just around the corner at Kirkwood Green, with two new townhome communities on the way: Townsend at Decatur and Townsend at Toco Hills – all priced from the $400’s.

#4 Duluth (tie) – With 3,865 total amenities and an unemployment rate of 7.5%, Duluth holds its own in a tie for #4. An amazing downtown area that features an eclectic collection of shops and restaurants, and draws people in droves to a number of imaginative events at the Town Green such as Flicks on the Bricks, Fridays N Duluth, Summer Stage Concert series and an 8-day art festival called Barefoot in the Park. Acadia Homes is now building in Berkeley Hills Estates – boasting beautiful single family homes priced from the low $300’s.

Acadia Homes Climbs More Than 20 Slots on National List of Up-and-Coming Builders

RiverDistrict_extNeedless to say – as an Atlanta-based builder who just hit the Southern housing scene in 2010 – we are thrilled with the recent news that Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods is listed at #141 on BUILDER Magazine’s “The Next 100”. As a follow-up to the national publication’s list of Top 100 Builders all across the nation, “The Next 100” catalogues America’s up-and-coming builders. In 2014, Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods first gained national attention by making the list of rising stars at #165 for 182 total closings over the course of 2013 and annual revenue of $59 million. One year later and we are proud to climb 24 slots up the list for 227 total closings over the course of 2014 and annual revenue of $75 million.

We are equally pleased to be joined by 57 other builders here in the South who also made this year’s list of up-and-comers – 9 of which had not been ranked in years prior. This serves as just another clear indication that the housing market in the South – which had been hit particularly hard during the recession – is making a very healthy comeback. Award-winning Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods is proud to be leading the way here in Georgia.

Listed among our best-selling communities in 2014 were Wellstone in Cumming, Riverbrooke in Suwanee and Sherwood Park in Smyrna. We credit a great deal of last year’s successes to the addition of our new Design Gallery at the beginning of 2014, which served to catapult our home buying experience to new heights by making the choice of interior and exterior design elements totally immersive and imaginatively interactive. With a number of incredible new communities on the horizon, we can hardly wait to see what the remainder of 2015 has in store for our company.

To learn more about Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods and our growing list of communities throughout Metro Atlanta – including those in Cobb, DeKalb, Forsyth, Gwinnett, Hall, Jackson and North Fulton Counties – please visit us at www.acadiahomes.com.

Press Release: Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods Continues to Secure its Standing in Gwinnett with Launch of Berkeley Hills Estates

Award-winning Atlanta Home Builder Debuts Fourth Gwinnett County Community

z1336 - New Model Home at Berkeley Hills Estates in Duluth - Acadia HomesAtlanta, May 4, 2015 – Shortly after launching their Cobb County-based residential and construction company in 2010, industry veterans Thomas Olson, Jon Roby and Gregg Goldenberg set their sights on Gwinnett County as a place where they hoped to one day make a lasting impact. That day arrived in 2013 when their company’s first entrée to one of Georgia’s fastest growing counties came with the introduction of The River District in the City of Berkeley Lake, followed shortly thereafter by Del Mar Club in Dacula and Sawyer Farms in Grayson in 2014. First quarter 2015 has already brought the debut of a new Acadia Homes community in Gwinnett with Berkeley Hills Estates in Duluth.

a819 - Kitchen at Berkeley Hills Estates - Acadia“After just five years in the competitive Atlanta market, we are thrilled with the reception from local homebuyers to Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods’ concept of affordable luxury,” explains Michael Rosenberg, Acadia’s COO. “This is particularly apparent in Gwinnett, where the response to our communities throughout the county continues to be extremely positive – as it has been from the start.
